Social Sciences and Journalism

The "Social Sciences and Journalism" Department of the Nordic International University was established on April 22, 2024. The department carries out educational, methodological, research, and mentorship activities, as well as the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel, spiritual and moral education, and upbringing work.
Currently, the Social Sciences and Journalism department has four professors and one academic support staff member.

Dual Education Opportunities:
For students in the Journalism program, dual education opportunities have been created in collaboration with UzReport and Nordic International University. This new educational program provides students with not only in-depth knowledge in modern journalism and media but also the opportunity to become competitive specialists at an international level.

Qodirov Najmiddin Ne'matovich
Qodirov Najmiddin Neymatovich He has worked at Tashkent State University of Economics in the positions of department head and vice-rector. He is the author of more than 50 scientific articles and scientific-methodical works, including 1 textbook, 5 teaching aids, 2 methodological guides, and 3 monographs. His textbooks and teaching aids, such as "History of Uzbekistan," "Philosophy," "Uzbekistan’s Anti-Corruption Strategy," "Business Law," "Global Politics, Migration, and Uneven Development," and "International Politics and Global Security," are widely used by students. Research areas: the education system in Turkestan in the 19th century, increasing social activity among youth in the years of independence, and the activities of civil society institutions.

Yuldashev Begzodjon Baxtiyorjon o'g'li
Yuldashev Begzodjon Baxtiyorjon o’g’li graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Kokand State Pedagogical Institute in 2023 and is currently a 2nd-year master's student in the field of Educational Institution Management at the International Nordic University. His academic interests focus on the management of educational institutions, national ideology, and the foundations of spirituality education. He is proficient in Russian and English and possesses extensive knowledge in computer literacy. Additionally, he has published 3 scientific articles and theses. His goal is to enhance the effectiveness of the education system and implement modern management methods.
