Musical education

Musical education is a field of practice that involves teaching and learning music. It is a field of research in which scholars conduct original research on methods of teaching and learning music.
Music education includes all areas of education, including the psychomotor area (skill development), the cognitive area (knowledge acquisition), and in particular, the affective area (the student's willingness to accept, assimilate and share what). Including appreciation of music and sensitivity.
Many music education curricula involve the use of mathematical skills, as well as the use of fluidity and understanding of a secondary language or culture. The consistency of practicing these skills has been shown to benefit students in many other academic fields, as well as improve performance on standardized tests such as ACT and SAT.
Music preparation from preschool to post-secondary education is common, as the practice of music is a key component of human culture and behavior.
