Foreign languages

In the 2024-2025 academic year, the Department of Foreign Languages has begun its activities in September. The department consists of 23 teaching staff, 2 of whom are visiting professors from Finnish universities and teaching Finnish to our students. The team of our department offers students interesting practical lessons in developing their English, German, Finnish and Russian language skills.


Our department’s motto is: “To train the youth of the New Uzbekistan as strong specialists with foreign language skills”. In this regard, our teachers carry out their duties based on modern European teaching standards. Our department’s one of the main goals is to teach foreign languages to students based on Finnish educational standards and using modern language teaching methods.


Our team collaborates with experts from partner universities in Europe, in particular Finland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden, and annually invites international lecturers and consultants. The Department of Foreign Languages regularly participates in international European projects, and teachers also actively participate in foreign projects to improve their professional skills.

She works as the head of the department of foreign languages ​​at the International University of the Nordic Countries.In 1990-1995, she graduated from the State University of World Languages ​​of Uzbekistan, specializing in German philology.From 1995 to 2014, she worked as a teacher at the faculty of German philology at the State University of World Languages ​​of Uzbekistan.In 2014-2024, she worked as the head of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​at the Tashkent State University of Economics. From the new 2024 academic year, she began teaching at the International Nordic University as the head of the Department of Foreign Languages.To date, she is the author of 6 textbooks, 12 teaching aids, 1 electronic teaching aid and more than 50 scientific articles. In order to ensure the teaching of German in Uzbekistan in accordance with European standards, he participated in international projects jointly with universities in Germany and Austria.
