About the School

The Nordic International School is established under Nordic International University in Tashkent. The cornerstone of the School was put on 11 June 2025 during the visit of Her Excellency Ms. Elina Valtonen, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland, to Nordic International University.
This School is an integral part of the International Education Hub and cluster established on the base of Nordic International University, drawing upon the educational experience and achievements of Finland and other Nordic countries. Its development is planned to proceed dynamically, making full use of the University’s entire potential—its tangible and intangible resources, academic and research base, faculty members, international cooperation networks, and more.

Goals and Objectives

The Nordic International School will not only serve as an institution providing high-quality school education for the youth of Uzbekistan, but will also become a center that shares Finland’s and other Nordic countries’ most advanced expertise, know-how, and innovations in school education with other public and private schools in Uzbekistan, organizes teacher training and seminars with the participation of foreign specialists, and implements scientific projects.
The School will also establish close cooperation with the relevant ministries, agencies, and institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
