Digital Transformation Center
Tasks
The Center for Digital Transformation (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was established by the University Council Resolution No. 8 dated May 31, 2024. Shavkat Karimov, the head of the Search Engine Optimization Department of the US company Microsoft, and the head of the IT community of Uzbekistan, was assigned to the Center as the Chief IT Advisor on a voluntary basis.
The main goal of the Center is to create favorable conditions for the development of startup projects in artificial intelligence technologies at the university, to assist students in organizing innovative activities in the field, to develop and provide technical support for software products, as well as to organize training for students in artificial intelligence and programming technologies.
The main tasks of the center are:
- to create favorable conditions for the development of innovative developments and startup ideas of university students in artificial intelligence technologies;
- to prepare young people for entrepreneurial activity in artificial intelligence technologies in terms of educational, methodological and informational aspects;
- to conduct master classes, trainings and advanced training courses, as well as scientific and practical conferences with the involvement of leading companies and specialists in the field of information technologies;
- to organize training in the development, implementation and improvement of software products;
- to organize the processes of technical support of software products, provision of rights to software;
- to assist in the development and implementation of software products on a custom basis;
- to provide services in the development of software products and artificial intelligence technologies;
- to generate additional income based on the development of software products and advertising of artificial intelligence technologies;
- training, design and sale of artificial intelligence and information and communication technologies, assistance in the implementation of automated control systems;
- provision of consulting and various services in artificial intelligence and information and communication technologies;
- holding conferences, exhibitions, round tables, seminars and other events.

He held the position of head of the Department of “digital economy and Information Technology” of Tashkent State University of Economics. He trained at the Moscow School of economics at Moscow State University, Ural State University of Economics, and completed an internship at the St. Petersburg State Transport University named after Alexander I.
