At the international business forum, representatives of Finnish engineering companies are presenting effective and comprehensive solutions to address global water-related challenges.
At the forum, the Chairman of the Board of "ECONET Oy," Mr. Mika Kärkkäinen, drew the participants' attention to major international water projects. The Project Manager of HAMK University, Mr. Niko Arola, along with other experienced Finnish specialists, provided detailed information on the water sector, strengthening innovations in water management, development, and advancement of water supply projects.
During the forum, system challenges were discussed, solutions and proposals were put forward, and business circles agreed to collaborate on promising projects in the future.

Meeting with Representatives of the Estonian Diplomatic Corps
His Excellency Mr. Jaap Ora, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Central Asian states, and Ms. Riina Kaljurand, Head of the Department for Russia, Belarus, and Central Asia at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussed regional processes and pressing aspects of international educational diplomacy.
The discussion also touched upon Estonia’s experience in digital transformation and its innovative global model, as well as prospects for cooperation with Central Asia in the fields of education, technology, and culture.
This meeting also provided Nordic students with an opportunity to gain insights into diplomatic practice.
A New Academic Year – A New Stage at the Nordic Family!
During the 2024–2025 academic year, achievements were reviewed and future tasks were set.
At Nordic, the 2024–2025 academic year went down in history as “The Year of Quality in Education and the Enhancement of Scientific Research.”
During this period, the quality of education improved. Scientific potential grew by 6.8%. More than 40 international delegations and ambassadors visited.
Nearly forty new books and manuals were published. Our students won prestigious international grants and scholarships.
The TasIMO-2025 Olympiad and many major projects were successfully held. In the new academic year, Nordic continues to expand and confidently moves toward new milestones.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, Rector Sherzod Mustafakulov declared it as “The Year of Moving Toward a Green University: Training Competitive Specialists Based on the Demands of the Global Labor Market.”
In the new academic year, the potential of the university community at Nordic will be united under this title, laying the foundation for the university’s unique path of advancement.
Odoo, TATU and Nordic: qualified specialists for the digital economy
Odoo is an ERP platform widely used around the world with 7+ million users. It enables automation of processes ranging from manufacturing to finance and education.
At the meeting:
➖ Organizing practical workshops and training seminars for students
➖ Providing experience and employment opportunities in working with ERP systems
➖ Increasing the competitiveness of future specialists
This cooperation is an important step in training qualified personnel for the digital economy.
