The 4th meeting of the Nordic International University Council took place, where several important issues were discussed.
Tasks were outlined for strengthening cooperation with Rowan University in the United States and preparing for the official opening ceremony of Rowan University's Tashkent Center under the auspices of the Nordic International University. The Council also discussed awarding the academic title of "Honorary Professor" to Rowan University President Ali Houshmand.
During the meeting, the Council reviewed the comprehensive study of department activities planned for the 2024-2025 academic year, with regular monitoring scheduled.
Additionally, measures were outlined to mobilize department professors and teachers for professional development.
The Council reviewed academic materials created by university professors and highly appreciated their significance in the educational process.
One of the agenda items was organizing and enriching the content of the "Enlightenment Hour" lessons. Several proposals were made to improve the quality and substance of these lessons. Measures were outlined to ensure thorough preparation for "Enlightenment Lessons" to convey the essence of the country’s ongoing socio-economic reforms to students and engage them in these processes.
During the meeting, NIU Rector Sherzod Mustafakulov presented a professorship diploma to Vice-Rector Muhammadsiddiq Amonboyev. Associate professorship diplomas were awarded to Dilafruz Miraliyeva (Head of the Department of Pedagogy), Hasan Sabirov (Head of the Department of Economics and Business Management), and Dilshod Nasriddinov (Head of the Department of Foreign Language and Literature).
Council members warmly congratulated the diploma recipients on their new academic achievements.
Relevant decisions were made on all issues considered by the Council.

Jahon iqtisodiy jarayonlari keng tahlil etilgan bu asar Nordik talabalari orasida katta qiziqish uyg‘otdi.
Kitob ustozlar bilan birgalikda o‘qildi, undagi asosiy g‘oyalar, tarixiy misollar va iqtisodiy xulosalar tahlil qilindi.
Iqtisodchi bo‘lish — bu faqat raqamlar bilan ishlash emas. Bu o‘ylash, tahlil qilish, sabab va oqibatlarni farqlash, murakkab jarayonlarni keng qamrovda ko‘ra olish san’atidir. Talabalarda aynan shunday chuqur fikrlash madaniyatini rivojlantirish maqsadida esse tanlovi tashkil etildi.
O‘qilgan qism asosida ular o‘z qarashlari, tahlillari va xulosalarini ijodiy esse orqali ifoda etdilar.
Oldinda tanlovning navbatdagi bosqichi bor. G‘oliblarni pul mukofotlari va esdalik sovg‘alari kutmoqda.

Inclusivity in Uzbekistan’s Education: Pedagogical Students’ Skills Enhanced
During the seminar, which was attended by master’s and doctoral students, ongoing reforms on implementing inclusive education, existing opportunities, and methodological approaches for children who need special support were thoroughly discussed.
Participants exchanged views on teachers’ preparedness, creating equal opportunities for all children in the learning process, and applying international practices in real educational settings.
Important practical recommendations and methodological guidelines were provided during the presentations and Q&A sessions. In addition, tasks were outlined for increasing the scope of scientific research in this field and expanding cooperation.
