A heartfelt conversation took place at the editorial offices of Xalq So'zi and Narodnoe Slovo newspapers, between the editor-in-chief Utkir Rahmat and the most active authors, including our rector Sherzod Mustafakulov.
As part of the “Best Articles” contest, Professor Sherzod Mustafakulov was awarded the Editorial Diploma for his articles on urgent topics published during the year.
Throughout 2024, a number of articles by the professor were published, including "Unforgettable Dialogues in the ‘Magical Land’", "Be Knowledgeable or Rely on Science in Your Actions", "Doing Business Based on Science", "Uzbekistan – Estonia: A New Stage of Systemic Relations", and "Long-term Projects".
Additionally, his popular science articles such as "New Uzbekistan is Becoming a Favorable, Economically Strong, and Prosperous Country for Entrepreneurs", "European Union – Central Asia Young Leaders Conference: New Steps in Strengthening Cooperation and Solidarity", and "Labor Barometer: How Assessing Professional Employment Benefits Uzbekistan?" were featured in the newspapers.

Education Transformation: Nordic Faculty at CONNECT
They will enhance their knowledge and experience within the framework of CONNECT — Collaborative Network for Educator Capacity and Teaching Transformation, a professional development program organized by one of Malaysia’s prestigious higher education institutions, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
The program is aimed at strengthening educators’ professional competencies and provides hands-on learning in modern pedagogical approaches, digital learning design, advanced assessment mechanisms, service learning, and future-oriented curriculum development.
As part of this two-week educational visit, the Nordic delegation will be in Kuala Lumpur and Kedah, actively participating in CONNECT-related trainings, seminars, and practical workshops.
This international academic visit holds significant practical value in adopting global best practices, strengthening international academic cooperation, and introducing innovative approaches into the educational environment of Nordic International University.

Training Week: Best Practices Are Taking Shape
During the trainings, areas such as lesson planning with the help of AI and prompt engineering are being analyzed. Through innovative pedagogical methods, the sessions are conducted in an interactive and engaging manner.
Teachers are gaining opportunities to review their lessons, reflect, and make new pedagogical decisions. New valuable experiences are being formed for implementation in the teaching process.
