At the Nordic International University, qualification exams were conducted for the specialty 08.00.16 – "Digital Economy and International Digital Integration".
The examination process was chaired by Saidakhror Gulomov, academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, honored scientist of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Economics, and Professor.
The exam was held in accordance with the regulations set by the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC). It assessed the candidates’ knowledge in their research field, their analytical and strategic thinking skills, as well as their professional competence in specialized subjects.

Monitoring: Transparency and Efficiency in Scientific Activity!
During special commission meetings, the personal plans, dissertations, and research activities of PhD students and independent researchers are being analyzed in the following specialties:
08.00.03 – Industrial Economics,
08.00.13 – Management,
08.00.07 – Finance, Money Circulation, and Credit,
13.00.02 – Theory and Methodology of Education and Upbringing (by fields),
and 13.00.01 – Theory and History of Pedagogical Education.
📌 Note: Participation in the monitoring is mandatory. Report documents and the department meeting minutes must be submitted to the commission.
The final results will be presented for discussion at the University Council.

NIU holds a scientific seminar session
At the meeting, the doctoral dissertation of the university's independent researcher Elshod Umarov on the topic "Socio-economic mechanisms for assessing the impact of green economy development on production resources" for the degree of PhD in the specialty 08.00.03 - "Industrial Economics" was widely discussed.
It was recognized that this scientific work deeply researched the issues of environmental sustainability and rational use of resources, which are relevant in the field of industrial economics.

Scientific-practical seminar: Science and practice being harmonized
The event was attended by university leadership, professors, and researchers. During the seminar, lectures were given on the effective organization and monitoring of scientific research work, as well as innovative approaches.
In the context of researchers' scientific activities, urgent topics such as translation methodology, digital education, gender education, and the integration of transport and logistics were discussed, and practical experiences were exchanged.
At the seminar, young scientists gained important scientific advices for deepening their research and applying it in practice.

NIU Scientific Council holds a scientific seminar
During the seminar, the dissertation on obtaining a PhD degree in economics of Diyarova Makhliyo Islamovna, a doctoral student of the Samarkand State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering named after Mirzo Ulugbek, was discussed.
The dissertation, titled “Strategy for the development of innovation activity management mechanism in the construction sector”, was discussed in detail by the seminar chairman and members. The scientific circle provided several recommendations for improvement.

Dissertation Defense: Interdepartmental Scientific Seminar Held
At Nordic University, the dissertation was thoroughly discussed during an interdepartmental scientific seminar involving the Department of Economics and Business Management and the Department of Industrial Management and Digital Technologies. The research was prepared to obtain the PhD degree in economics, specializing in 08.00.07 - Finance, Money Circulation, and Credit.
The dissertation was acknowledged for its comprehensive study of ways to improve the financial stability practices of tourism companies and for presenting well-founded proposals developed by the researcher.
The dissertation abstract highlights the economic essence and significance of the concept of financial stability in tourism companies, the influencing factors, and an analysis of international practices in this field, concluding with scientifically grounded recommendations.
Participants in the seminar highly evaluated the research outcomes and emphasized that the dissertation would make a valuable contribution to the field.

Проведен научно-практический семинар для докторантов и самостоятельных соискателей
The seminar-training was conducted by Farhod Irisqulov, Head of the Scientific and Innovation Department, and Zulfiya Hamidova, Head of the Master's Department. They provided essential recommendations on preparing and publishing articles in the IMRAD format.
University doctoral students Rushana Aliakbarova and Dilnoza Sabrdjanova presented reports on the results of their scientific research.
Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Innovations, Odil Qo‘ysinov, shared his experience in organizing high-quality scientific research.
During these regularly held seminars, researchers receive answers to key questions related to their scientific activities.

A Scientific and Practical Seminar for Doctoral Students and Independent Researchers was held
International expert Odilbek Kattayev conducted a training session on the topic “Napkin AI: An Innovative Visualization Tool for Educators and Researchers.”
Participants became familiar with the use of the Napkin AI platform, methods of visualizing presentations and scientific works, and developed practical skills.
Additionally, doctoral students Ruslan Shodmonov, Islombek Akhmedov, Dilmurod Parpibayev, and Shahnoza Yakhshiboyeva shared the results of their scientific activities.
During the seminar, young scholars received important recommendations on preparing doctoral dissertations, conducting in-depth research in their specialties, and preparing reports. They were introduced to the tasks that need to be completed in the first year of study and the criteria for presenting reports.

The entrance exam for the 2nd quarter of 2025 was held at the Institute of Postgraduate Education of XNU
In the entrance exam, the knowledge, innovative approach and scientific potential of applicants for independent study were tested and evaluated.

Nordic researchers have passed the qualification exam
The commission members tested their knowledge and analytical skills by asking independent researchers questions about the strategy and methodology of reforms in the subject and field they are researching.
Also, questions on special subjects were asked, and the professional qualifications of the candidates were evaluated.

A scientific and methodological seminar was conducted for doctoral candidates and research scholars.
At the seminar, all researchers were provided with recommendations for conducting high-quality scientific research. Additionally, young scientists received essential guidance on preparing doctoral dissertations, in-depth study of their specialties, and carrying out research. They were familiarized with the tasks that need to be completed during the first year of study and the criteria for submitting progress reports every three months.

Examination Conducted for Doctoral, Basic Doctoral, and Independent Researcher Applicants
The examination was administered by a commission chaired by Professor Sherzod Mustafakulov, Doctor of Economics and Rector of Nordic International University. Applicants' knowledge in their respective specialties, innovative approaches, and scientific potential were evaluated during the entrance examination.

Scientific-Practical Seminar Held for Doctoral Candidates and Independent Researchers
At the seminar, researcher Oybek Rahimberdiyev presented his scientific studies on improving the organizational-economic mechanisms for sustainable development of industrial enterprises. Zulfizar Bahadirova reported on her research regarding the methodology of teaching the logopedics course in higher education institutions based on modular technology.
Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Innovations, Odil Qo‘ysinov, provided recommendations on effectively organizing scientific research activities. The seminar enhanced researchers' skills in managing scientific activities and processes
