The 2nd Uzbekistan–Estonia International Business Forum was held at Nordic International University with the support of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry! 🇪🇪
The forum was opened by Jaap Ora, Estonia’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, and Alisher Juraev, Honorary Consul of Finland in Uzbekistan, marking the beginning of a new stage in bilateral relations.
The event brought together representatives from ministries and agencies of both countries, over 40 leading Estonian companies, and entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan.
Margus Ilmjärv, a representative of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, introduced members of the Estonian business delegation. Jaanus Paas, Director of the Silsteve Terminal Company, Svetlana Laanela, representative of Clemco Baltic, along with specialists from several other top Estonian companies, presented their business interests and cooperation opportunities.
Discussions were held around the topics and proposals put forward during the business forum.

A New Academic Year – A New Stage at the Nordic Family!
During the 2024–2025 academic year, achievements were reviewed and future tasks were set.
At Nordic, the 2024–2025 academic year went down in history as “The Year of Quality in Education and the Enhancement of Scientific Research.”
During this period, the quality of education improved. Scientific potential grew by 6.8%. More than 40 international delegations and ambassadors visited.

For the 2025–2026 academic year, Rector Sherzod Mustafakulov declared it as “The Year of Moving Toward a Green University: Training Competitive Specialists Based on the Demands of the Global Labor Market.”
In the new academic year, the potential of the university community at Nordic will be united under this title, laying the foundation for the university’s unique path of advancement.
Odoo, TATU and Nordic: qualified specialists for the digital economy
Odoo is an ERP platform widely used around the world with 7+ million users. It enables automation of processes ranging from manufacturing to finance and education.
At the meeting:
