NIU has opened applications for independent research studies.
📌 According to Resolution No. 304 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated May 22, 2017, applications for independent research studies – one of the forms of postgraduate education – are now open for the second quarter of 2023.
📣 Applications are accepted online via the Unified Electronic System (phd.mininnovation.uz) until February 15.
📍 The NIU Scientific Council has approved dissertation defenses for the following specializations:
📎 08.00.07 – "Finance, Money Circulation, and Credit"
📎 08.00.13 – "Management"
📎 08.00.03 – "Industrial Economics"
📎 13.00.02 – "Theory and Methodology of Education and Training" (Economics)

A New Academic Year – A New Stage at the Nordic Family!
During the 2024–2025 academic year, achievements were reviewed and future tasks were set.
At Nordic, the 2024–2025 academic year went down in history as “The Year of Quality in Education and the Enhancement of Scientific Research.”
During this period, the quality of education improved. Scientific potential grew by 6.8%. More than 40 international delegations and ambassadors visited.
Nearly forty new books and manuals were published. Our students won prestigious international grants and scholarships.
The TasIMO-2025 Olympiad and many major projects were successfully held. In the new academic year, Nordic continues to expand and confidently moves toward new milestones.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, Rector Sherzod Mustafakulov declared it as “The Year of Moving Toward a Green University: Training Competitive Specialists Based on the Demands of the Global Labor Market.”
In the new academic year, the potential of the university community at Nordic will be united under this title, laying the foundation for the university’s unique path of advancement.
Odoo, TATU and Nordic: qualified specialists for the digital economy
Odoo is an ERP platform widely used around the world with 7+ million users. It enables automation of processes ranging from manufacturing to finance and education.
