Inside Parliament: Nordic Students Explore the Legislative Process
During the visit, participants familiarized themselves with the activities of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs and took part in an open dialogue with Members of Parliament.
The meeting provided students with comprehensive information on the state youth policy, the substance and significance of newly adopted laws, the role of political party factions and parliamentary committees, the activities of the Youth Parliament, and other key dimensions of parliamentary work.
Particular interest was sparked by discussions on the legislative process itself—from the drafting of bills to their review, debate, and final adoption. Members of Parliament answered students’ questions and shared practical insights into their professional responsibilities and decision-making processes.
As part of the educational tour, students also visited the museum dedicated to the history of the Oliy Majlis, explored the modern parliamentary library, and toured the chamber where laws are debated and adopted.
The visit contributed significantly to enhancing students’ legal and political awareness while encouraging greater engagement in the socio-political life of the country.

The Final Stretch: State Examinations Underway
Taking into account the specific nature of each discipline, assessments are organized in both test-based and practical formats, ensuring transparency, fairness, and academic integrity throughout the process.
Each academic group is completing the examinations in accordance with the approved schedule. To support effective preparation, students are provided with extensive access to the university library resources and additional academic consultations.
Beyond assessing students’ knowledge and competencies, the examination period also serves as an important opportunity to further enhance the quality of education. As part of this effort, special surveys are being conducted to gather students’ feedback and evaluate their learning experience.
The opinions, suggestions, and recommendations expressed by students contribute to the continuous improvement of educational processes and the development of a more student-centered academic environment.
