📌 The International Nordic University is organizing a professional development course in collaboration with leading Finnish universities and pedagogical institutes in Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Karelia, and JAMK!
📅 Course Dates: April 24 – May 7
📍 Location: Finland, various universities and institutes
🔹 Today, NIU hosted a preparatory seminar before the professional development trip to Finland.
🔹 The seminar brought together 25 academic leaders and faculty members from 10 universities in Uzbekistan.
🔹 The course will explore Finland’s advanced educational approaches and innovative teaching methodologies.
📢 This initiative aims to integrate international best practices into the education system and enhance faculty professional growth!

Education Transformation: Nordic Faculty at CONNECT
They will enhance their knowledge and experience within the framework of CONNECT — Collaborative Network for Educator Capacity and Teaching Transformation, a professional development program organized by one of Malaysia’s prestigious higher education institutions, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
The program is aimed at strengthening educators’ professional competencies and provides hands-on learning in modern pedagogical approaches, digital learning design, advanced assessment mechanisms, service learning, and future-oriented curriculum development.
As part of this two-week educational visit, the Nordic delegation will be in Kuala Lumpur and Kedah, actively participating in CONNECT-related trainings, seminars, and practical workshops.
This international academic visit holds significant practical value in adopting global best practices, strengthening international academic cooperation, and introducing innovative approaches into the educational environment of Nordic International University.
Training Week: Best Practices Are Taking Shape
During the trainings, areas such as lesson planning with the help of AI and prompt engineering are being analyzed. Through innovative pedagogical methods, the sessions are conducted in an interactive and engaging manner.
Teachers are gaining opportunities to review their lessons, reflect, and make new pedagogical decisions. New valuable experiences are being formed for implementation in the teaching process.
