Discussions with British Council representatives focused on English learning and educational collaboration.
The Director of the British Council in Uzbekistan, Denise Waddingham, and her deputy, Jamilya Gulyamova, visited the university.
During the discussions between the university leadership and esteemed guests, topics such as enhancing English language education for students using popular educational platforms and organizing specialized training for teachers in collaboration were addressed.
A mutually beneficial dialogue was held to promote the UK's experience in advancing higher education and establishing partnerships with British universities.

A New Academic Year – A New Stage at the Nordic Family!
During the 2024–2025 academic year, achievements were reviewed and future tasks were set.
At Nordic, the 2024–2025 academic year went down in history as “The Year of Quality in Education and the Enhancement of Scientific Research.”
During this period, the quality of education improved. Scientific potential grew by 6.8%. More than 40 international delegations and ambassadors visited.
Nearly forty new books and manuals were published. Our students won prestigious international grants and scholarships.
The TasIMO-2025 Olympiad and many major projects were successfully held. In the new academic year, Nordic continues to expand and confidently moves toward new milestones.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, Rector Sherzod Mustafakulov declared it as “The Year of Moving Toward a Green University: Training Competitive Specialists Based on the Demands of the Global Labor Market.”
In the new academic year, the potential of the university community at Nordic will be united under this title, laying the foundation for the university’s unique path of advancement.
Odoo, TATU and Nordic: qualified specialists for the digital economy
Odoo is an ERP platform widely used around the world with 7+ million users. It enables automation of processes ranging from manufacturing to finance and education.
At the meeting:

➖ Providing experience and employment opportunities in working with ERP systems
➖ Increasing the competitiveness of future specialists
This cooperation is an important step in training qualified personnel for the digital economy.
