The World Summit on “Investing in Children’s Well-being: Pathways Towards Sustainable and Equitable Development for Future Generations” was held in Samarkand.

Shahnoza Sattarova, Associate Professor at Nordik’s Department of Preschool Education and Psychology and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences (DSc), participated in international discussions, addressing opportunities to advance the field of psychology and strengthen cooperation in the implementation of promising international projects.

During the meetings, prospects for collaboration were discussed with regional representatives of the World Bank, UNICEF and the World Health Organization, as well as the Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare of the Republic of Zimbabwe.

“There is no better investment than investing in children, especially during their early years,” emphasised Naji Benhassine, World Bank Country Director for Central Asia.

The summit also provided a platform for discussions on strengthening international cooperation, expanding research-based expertise, integrating innovative approaches into education, and developing initiatives to promote children’s well-being. Participants further explored the prospects of signing memoranda of understanding to advance these shared priorities.
