The third issue of the magazine, published in 2026, is dedicated to Uzbekistan and presents an extensive feature exploring the country’s rapid development, young population, emerging economic opportunities, and growing international connections.
One of the issue’s special features, “Nordisk närvaro i Uzbekistan” — “Nordic Presence in Uzbekistan,” examines the historical and contemporary ties between Uzbekistan and the Nordic countries, with particular attention to cooperation in education, business, culture, and tourism. Nordic International University is highlighted as an important example of how Nordic educational philosophy and international approaches to education are taking shape in Uzbekistan.
The author presents the University as one of the practical platforms for the expanding educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and Finland. The article also highlights Alisher Juraev’s role in strengthening ties with Finland, his activities as Finland’s Honorary Consul in Tashkent, and his initiatives in promoting bilateral cooperation.
