The discussions involved Gisella Zimmermann, Regional Director for Central Asia, and Kanybek Sydykbekov, Regional Programme Officer for Academic Cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation with German universities, as well as the key priorities and objectives related to the new academic programmes planned to be launched at Nordic University. Particular attention was also given to the opportunities available for students within DAAD scholarship programmes.
In addition, the participants addressed issues related to promoting the in-depth study of the German language, expanding opportunities for students to participate in the OnSET international language examination, and enhancing professional development opportunities for faculty members at German higher education institutions.
The meeting marked another significant step toward strengthening bilateral academic cooperation and creating new opportunities in education and research, while further advancing international education, scholarships, and academic mobility.
