Talented students of Nordic University have once again demonstrated their exceptional skills, artistic passion, and strong dedication at the international competition “We Are Happy Children.”

The prestigious event, held at the R. Glière Republican Specialized Music School, brought together more than 300 young performers and artists from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan, fostering a highly competitive and inspiring creative environment.


✨ Outstanding Results:

Shahzodabonu Akramova was awarded the highest distinction — the Grand Prix, and secured invitations to participate in upcoming international competitions in Almaty and Issyk-Kul;

Eʼzoza Egamberdiyeva and Qodir Ergashev achieved 2nd place;

Mohinisa Abduvaliyeva earned 3rd place.


These achievements are a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and the unwavering support of their mentors.


🏅 Notably, for its effective contribution to engaging youth in the arts and fostering international creative collaboration, the Rector of Nordic University, Sherzod Mustafakulov, was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by Kazakhstan’s “Happy Nation’s Generation” Public Foundation.

Master's Thesis Defenses Underway at Nordic University

In particular, master's students specializing in Journalism presented the outcomes of their research on a range of contemporary issues closely associated with globalization and the ongoing processes of digital transformation.


The defended studies addressed such significant topics as the representation of literary promotion in print media, mechanisms of media manipulation in the context of globalization, the role of travel journalism in increasing tourist flows, the influence of mass media on enhancing women's social engagement in Uzbekistan, as well as the transformation of media consumption patterns in the era of digital technologies. These research projects demonstrated both theoretical depth and practical relevance.


In today's rapidly evolving information landscape, journalism has transcended its traditional function of disseminating news and has become a crucial instrument for analyzing social processes, fostering media literacy, and supporting national development strategies. From this perspective, the scholarly work conducted by master's students contributes meaningfully to the advancement of the country's media ecosystem and the emergence of new academic research schools.


Across all graduate programs at Nordic University, master's candidates are presenting and substantiating the theoretical foundations, methodological frameworks, and practical outcomes of their research through comprehensive academic presentations. Members of the State Attestation Commission are conducting thorough evaluations of each study and engaging candidates in substantive scholarly discussions. The commission has acknowledged the relevance, innovative approaches, and practical significance of the research projects while also providing valuable recommendations for the further development of the students' scientific and professional endeavors.


The thesis defense process once again demonstrates Nordic University's commitment to nurturing highly qualified specialists capable of generating knowledge, addressing contemporary challenges, and contributing to the sustainable development of society through research and innovation.

By working, learning, and travelling in Bulgaria, students will gain valuable industry-specific expertise, broaden their global perspectives, and strengthen the competencies required to thrive in an increasingly competitive international labour market.


This experience marks an important step toward transforming classroom learning into practical excellence and preparing globally minded professionals for the future.

From Hearing to Opportunity: International Expertise and New Partnerships

The event brought together leading experts from Türkiye, including Esra Yücel, who shared advanced international experience, innovative practices, and evidence-based approaches to supporting individuals with hearing impairments.


As part of the seminar, the activities of the Special Pedagogy (Speech Therapy) program at Nordic International University were also presented. The presentation delivered by Senior Lecturer Zulfizar Baxadirova attracted considerable interest from international specialists and highlighted the university’s commitment to preparing highly qualified professionals in the field.


One of the key outcomes of the event was the establishment of promising prospects for academic and scientific cooperation with Hacettepe University, aimed at fostering knowledge exchange and collaborative research from the upcoming academic year. In addition, preliminary agreements were reached with Turkish experts and INVIVO Clinic regarding an international project focused on providing corrective and rehabilitative support for children with cochlear implants.


This initiative is expected to create new opportunities for the advancement of special pedagogy, speech therapy, and deaf education, while facilitating the integration of international best practices into both educational and rehabilitation settings.


Throughout the seminar, students were introduced to the latest international methodologies and professional approaches in the field. Furthermore, the university library was enriched with new academic publications and specialized resources, strengthening the educational and research capacity of future specialists.
