Today, the International Nordic University organized the II "Uzbekistan-Finland International Business Forum" international conference on "Modern and innovative construction technologies".

At the international forum held in cooperation with the large Finnish companies "Peikko", "Kone", "AINS Group", "Elematic" and "East office", the ministries and agencies of the two countries, the world's leading Finnish companies, managers and specialists of 50 local companies and the media representatives are participating.


The opening of this forum was held at the International Nordic University. Honorary Consul of Finland in Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Nordic University Alisher Jorayev emphasized the importance of the forum. He informed that the most modern construction technologies, innovative developments, equipment and construction concepts of Finnish companies will be presented within the framework of the forum. 


Ilkka Raisanen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Central Asia, emphasized that the organization of B2B and B2G meetings of leading Finnish companies and local business representatives at the forum is important for signing mutual cooperation agreements and cooperation on promising projects in the future. He expressed his satisfaction with the rapid development of economic sectors in Uzbekistan.


Janne Harjunpaa, executive director of the company "East office", which includes the largest shareholder groups in Finland, wished success to all delegates in the work of the forum.


At the business forum, delegates presented presentations aimed at further development of mutual cooperation between the two countries. Peikko, Kone, AINS Group, Elematic and East office companies were introduced to innovative solutions, experiences, research and business projects, goals and new technologies that can be introduced into systems in Uzbekistan. 


At the forum, business and business circles discussed the current state and prospects of trade-economic and investment cooperation. 


Expanding the economic relations of Uzbekistan - Finnish companies, creating joint production and trade facilities based on high technologies, conducting scientific research, training highly qualified personnel for economic fields and organizing their practices, etc. It was reported that there are installation options.


B2B, B2G format meetings will be held within the framework of the forum, and negotiations will be conducted on mutually beneficial cooperation. Mutual cooperation agreements will be signed with business circles and it will be agreed to cooperate on promising projects in the future.


  For information: the first "Uzbekistan-Finland International Business Forum" was held in Uzbekistan in 2022 by the International Nordic University and "Saipro Group" with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. More than 30 heads and experts of the ministries and agencies of the two countries, the world's leading Finnish companies, in particular Nokia, Reka Sables, FinnPartnership, Honka, Kone, Suokone, took part in it.

Towards a Holistically Developed Individual: A Motivational Meeting for Future Educators

The session, entitled “A Well-Rounded Individual, a Skilled Professional, and a Distinct Personality,” evolved into a dynamic academic and motivational platform for professional engagement.


The training was conducted by Professor Odil Qo‘ysinov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, and Professor Sherali Abduraimov of the Department of Pedagogical Education and Psychology. The speakers provided participants with a comprehensive and analytical insight into the contemporary philosophy of education and the ongoing educational reforms.

Within the framework of the Nordic — Rowan (https://www.rowan.edu/) collaboration, the newly established international center provides students with opportunities to:

➖pursue dual-degree programs and obtain diplomas from both institutions;

➖begin their studies in Tashkent and subsequently integrate into the U.S. academic environment;

➖engage in joint research initiatives and academic mobility programs, including exchanges of faculty members, researchers, and students, thereby acquiring global academic exposure.
