The meeting focused on a specialised programme designed to enhance young leaders’ skills in effective communication, navigating complex situations, transforming conflicts constructively, and working effectively with teams.
As part of the initiative, a four-day interactive training retreat is planned around the concept of “Hard Conversations and the Habit of Attention.”
Throughout the programme, participants will be equipped with practical tools and approaches for navigating difficult conversations with clarity, confidence, and mutual respect; understanding diverse perspectives and viewpoints; and addressing challenging or conflict-driven situations through constructive and innovative approaches.
The programme is expected to bring together young leaders aged 18–30, team leaders, education professionals, and actively engaged young people, with carefully designed selection criteria to identify participants who demonstrate strong leadership potential and a commitment to personal and community development.
The discussions also explored the concept of the “Art of Attention,” intercultural communication, leadership experiences across diverse global contexts, youth engagement methodologies, and opportunities to expand the programme to reach a broader youth audience in the future.
Particular attention was given to engaging internationally experienced professors and trainers with expertise informed by Nordic approaches, as well as developing interactive sessions, practical workshops, and collaborative activities for participants.
The parties also exchanged views on developing effective mechanisms for identifying, selecting, and empowering young leaders, while further strengthening international cooperation through practical, impact-oriented projects.
