Scholars specializing in Navoiy studies from nearly 20 countries, along with prominent academics, professors, teachers, and intellectuals of our republic, gathered at the event. Among the participants was Sitorabonu Shomurodova, a Navoiy expert and literature teacher at Nordik University, who delivered a report.
In her presentation titled "Mukhammassat Linked to Alisher Navoiy's Ghazals," she discussed the significant influence of the great Uzbek poet’s rich legacy on the works of other poets.
"In 2025, the year will be declared the 'Year of Alisher Navoiy' in Navoiy region. During the international symposium held on the occasion of the 584th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker, we also visited an exhibition dedicated to the legacy of this great figure. We gained even broader and new sources that will serve as a solid foundation for honoring our mother tongue, developing our literature, and elevating our spirituality," said Sitorabonu Shomurodova.
