Finnish traveler Taina Liekari, who is on a walking journey around the world, arrived in the Bukhara region yesterday. She began her global trip on August 15, 2024, from Spain and has since walked through 16 countries, covering more than 40,000 kilometers on foot.
According to Taina Liekari, her walking journey across Uzbekistan has left her deeply impressed by the country’s rich history, the beauty of its ancient cities, and especially the warm hospitality of the people of Bukhara.
“While walking across Uzbekistan, I witnessed the beauty of Bukhara and the hospitality of its people,” she says.
