As part of the Constitutional Law module, Nordic University organised a masterclass featuring Khusvaqt Khayitov, Member of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Member of the Committee on International Affairs, Defence and Security, Doctor of Law and Professor.
The session addressed fundamental questions every citizen should understand: What do the rights to vote and stand for election entail? How can citizens participate in public administration? What mechanisms are available to protect their rights?
The open and engaging discussion explored the role of political rights in everyday life, citizens’ participation in the governance of the state and society, and the importance of fostering an active civic stance among young people.
