An important meeting with representatives of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) was held at Nordic University.

The discussions involved Gisella Zimmermann, Regional Director for Central Asia, and Kanybek Sydykbekov, Regional Programme Officer for Academic Cooperation.


During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation with German universities, as well as the key priorities and objectives related to the new academic programmes planned to be launched at Nordic University. Particular attention was also given to the opportunities available for students within DAAD scholarship programmes.


In addition, the participants addressed issues related to promoting the in-depth study of the German language, expanding opportunities for students to participate in the OnSET international language examination, and enhancing professional development opportunities for faculty members at German higher education institutions.


The meeting marked another significant step toward strengthening bilateral academic cooperation and creating new opportunities in education and research, while further advancing international education, scholarships, and academic mobility.

“Miss Nordic – 2026”: The Nordic Crown Has Found Its Queen!

Our female students demonstrated not only elegance and charm but also knowledge, eloquence, and a creative approach that made each participant unique.


The competition began with an essay-writing stage, testing the participants’ analytical thinking and ability to express their ideas clearly. During the self-introduction round, contestants impressed the audience with their confidence and charisma. The national costume challenge highlighted cultural heritage and celebrated national values through creative interpretations. Finally, in the free-theme stage, participants showcased their artistic talent and stage skills.


👑 This year’s Miss Nordic crown was awarded to Khusniyabonu Maxmudova, who proudly claimed first place.

The students completed their practical training at the U.Q. Qurbonov Republican Children’s Neuropsychiatric Hospital. During the internship, they observed specialists working with children who have developmental disorders and became closely acquainted with modern methods of speech therapy rehabilitation.


They also received professional guidance from specialists on diagnostic procedures and the organization of comprehensive corrective support.

Most importantly, the students had the opportunity to connect their theoretical knowledge with real-world professional practice.


They were also introduced to the organization of an inclusive education system within the hospital, where children undergoing long-term treatment continue their learning process.


This experience became not only a professional training ground but also a school of humanity, teaching future speech therapists the values of patience, empathy, and compassionate care for every child.

The women of Nordic were welcomed in a festive atmosphere with flowers, heartfelt wishes, and sincere attention from their male colleagues. A specially prepared walkway became one of the highlights of the celebration, where women passed through a corridor of congratulations and warm wishes. Each step was accompanied by cheerful smiles, the fragrance of flowers, and words of appreciation, creating a truly uplifting holiday spirit.

At the end of the walkway, a beautifully designed photo zone greeted the guests. Here, women captured memorable moments filled with excitement, joy, and genuine laughter in front of personalized boards featuring their names.


The festive program continued with an engaging and vibrant atmosphere. The special guest of the event — renowned singer, comedian, parody artist, author of satirical shows, and showman Zokir Ochilov — brought a unique energy to the celebration. His humorous performances, witty anecdotes, and lively stage presence filled the hall with laughter and created a warm, joyful ambiance.


The celebration was further enriched by musical performances from guest artists, whose songs and melodies added even more color and festive spirit to the event.


During the program, the Rector of the university and male members of the academic community expressed their deep respect and appreciation for women through heartfelt speeches, sincere congratulations, elegant poetry, and a specially prepared premiere song and video clip.


At the conclusion of the celebration, memorable gifts were presented to the women of the university as a token of gratitude and appreciation.

This day became a symbol of special respect and recognition for the women of Nordic. Throughout the event, they were surrounded by admiration, warmth, joy, and celebration. The hall resonated with laughter, applause, and a festive mood, making the atmosphere even more vibrant.
