NIU conducted a seminar-training on expanding LMS system capabilities.
📌 A seminar-training was held at our university to integrate new LMS system features into the educational process.
🎓 During the seminar-training, the following topics were covered:
✅ Efficient use of LMS functions and settings
✅ Utilization of digital and interactive resources in the learning process
✅ Enhancing faculty engagement with LMS for lesson management
💻 IT department specialist Xasanjon Topilov provided training to improve faculty members' proficiency in using LMS features.

Heated Debate within the “Zebo” Project!
Participants were divided into two teams and presented well-grounded arguments highlighting different perspectives on artificial intelligence. One team emphasized potential risks such as rising unemployment, information security challenges, and the decreasing role of the human factor. The other team, however, highlighted the tremendous potential of AI in advancing science, driving innovation, and creating entirely new professions.
The debate unfolded in a lively and intellectually engaging atmosphere. Participants demonstrated not only solid knowledge but also strong logical reasoning, quick analytical thinking, and confident public speaking skills.

AI is becoming an intelligent assistant for both teachers and students
The interactive format of the session helped students rethink and modernize their learning approaches in line with contemporary educational practices.
During the training, participants explored how generative artificial intelligence works and learned practical techniques for using AI to prepare essays, projects, and presentations quickly, systematically, and with higher quality. The session also revealed the principles of professional prompt writing — the key to obtaining accurate and effective results from AI tools — demonstrated through practical examples.
Particular attention was given to the ethical and responsible use of AI, emphasizing the importance of maintaining academic integrity while integrating AI into academic work. Different AI tools were analyzed through real-life cases to determine which solutions are most effective for specific academic tasks.
As a result, students gained new knowledge and practical skills that will help them organize their research, analytical work, and learning processes more efficiently and strategically.

New Partnership: International Experience for National Development
During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation aimed at advancing public administration, education, and innovation.
Particular attention was given to adapting best practices from the United States and Northern European countries, especially Finland, in the fields of effective public governance and vocational education to local conditions. The discussions also covered the organization of short-term professional development programs and internships within Finland’s leading educational institutions and government bodies, as well as the development of a targeted system for training highly qualified specialists for industrial enterprises.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding, marking the beginning of a new stage of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Within the framework of this partnership, the implementation of new initiatives based on the principles of “green” and “smart” governance is planned.
The sides also agreed to launch joint initiatives aimed at enhancing youth potential and supporting talented young people, as well as expanding mechanisms for attracting international grants and investments to promote sustainable regional development.

CyberHack Conference–2026: An Innovative Experience at the Intersection of Collaboration and Competition
The event placed particular emphasis on fostering a strong culture of digital security in the country and supporting young professionals in the field of information technology. The conference served as a dynamic professional platform for meaningful dialogue among industry experts, emerging researchers, and students.
Cybersecurity practitioners delivered analytical presentations based on real-world cases, industry experience, and forward-looking career pathways. Participants gained valuable insights into modern cyber threats and effective defense mechanisms through practical demonstrations.
During the technical workshops, interactive sessions were conducted to enhance hands-on experience with advanced tools and software solutions, as well as to simulate attack and defense scenarios. Dedicated interactive zones and networking areas facilitated professional engagement, knowledge exchange, and the establishment of new partnerships. Various challenges, competitive contests, and open discussions created a highly motivating environment for young participants.
As part of the conference, a Capture The Flag (CTF) competition was organized among university students, serving as a practical assessment of knowledge, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills.
A total of 50 teams from higher education institutions across Uzbekistan tackled complex challenges in cryptography, network security, web application protection, reverse engineering, and digital forensics.
The International Nordik University team demonstrated commendable performance and was awarded a certificate for its active participation and contribution to strengthening a competitive professional ecosystem in the field of cybersecurity.
