Photo Exhibition Opening and Award Ceremony: Special Recognition for Customs Officers!

A photo exhibition titled “One is the Sun, One is the Moon” opened at the Tashkent House of Photography. At the same time, a two-day training seminar for the press services of customs authorities, held at Nordic University, successfully concluded.
25 representatives from the press services of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional and Tashkent city customs departments, the “Tashkent-AERO” customs complex, the National Cynology Center, and the Customs Institute participated in the seminar and received professional development certificates.
Held on the eve of June 27 — Press and Media Workers Day, the event served as a vivid example of the harmony between knowledge and values.
The exhibition, featuring over 100 emotional photos portraying customs officers as loving parents, deeply moved the audience. Touching monologues by Zuhra Ashurova dedicated to honoring parents added a warm and heartfelt atmosphere to the event.

Muhammadjon Obidov: surishtiruv jurnalistikasi saboqlari
“Jurnalist ta’magirlik va poraxo‘rlikdan yiroq bo‘lishi kerak. Unda kuch ham bo‘ladi, imkoniyat ham — ammo jurnalist hech qachon o‘ch olish uchun qalam tutmasligi kerak. Bu kasb — adolat yo‘lida xolis xizmat.”
Ustoz jurnalist turli yillarda "Axborot" direksiyasi, “O‘zbekiston ovozi”, “Farg‘ona haqiqati”, “Ферганская правда” tahririyatlari va O‘zAda olib borilgan faoliyati davomida tayyorlagan rezonansli jurnalistik surishtiruvlari, ularning natijalari, oqibatlari va ta’sir kuchi haqida misollar bilan so‘zlab berdi.
Talabalar bilan maqolalar tahlili o‘tkazildi, videomateriallar ko‘rildi, har bir surishtiruv ortidagi mashaqqat, xavf, jasorat va mas’uliyat yorqin misollar orqali ochib berildi.
Iqtiboslar:
• Jurnalist — dalillarga suyanadi, shov-shuvga emas.
• Surishtiruv — bu jasorat, biroq har bir so‘zning ortida mas’uliyat turadi.
• Manfaatlar kurashida xolislikni saqlash — haqiqiy professionallik mezoni.
• Har bir materialning uslubi individual bo‘lishi, qolipga tushmasligi kerak.
• Targ‘ibot emas, haqiqat jurnalistni kuchli qiladi.
Muhammmadjon Obidov o‘z faoliyati davomida 40 ga yaqin davlatda bo‘lgan jurnalist, “Farg‘ona jurnalistikasi”, “Jurnalist surishtiruvi” kabi qator kitoblar muallifi sifatida ham o‘z tajribalarini ulashdi. Jurnalist-talabalar uchun muhim kitoblarini Nordik kutubxonasiga tuhfa qildi.
Mazkur uchrashuv talabalarga jurnalistikaning kechagi kuni, buguni va ertangi istiqboli haqida keng tasavvur berdi. Ustoz bir maslahatini alohida urg‘u bilan aytdi:
“Shogird tayyorlang. Bilim, tajriba faqat sizda emas — boshqalarda ham davom etsin.”
Successful Defense Presentations at the NIU Council
Independent researcher of Nordic International University, Jasurbek Alimardon o‘g‘li Turg‘unov, presented the essence of his dissertation on the topic “Assessment of the Impact of Industrial Enterprises’ Development on the Environment”, prepared under the supervision of Doctor of Economics, Professor Sherzod Mustafakulov. He thoroughly discussed the relevance of the topic, the scientific conclusions obtained during the research process, and the developed theoretical and practical recommendations, giving comprehensive answers to all questions.
In addition, Aziza Baxrom qizi Mirzarakhimova’s dissertation on “Research on New Technological Approaches to Improving the Electronic Health System” was actively discussed.
Both candidates successfully defended their dissertations and were awarded the PhD degree.
Youth Diplomacy: OSCE Special Representative Visits Nordic!
Mr. Leinonen met with students and encouraged them to take an active role in efforts to ensure sustainable peace and security.
The distinguished guest shared the outcomes of the Youth Forum held under the OSCE Chairmanship in Helsinki in July 2025.
He also spoke about Finland’s advanced experience in youth cooperation, the Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) Roadmap, and the process of developing national action plans.
During the meeting, guests were also introduced to the results of joint education programs and work and travel initiatives implemented between Nordic International University and Finnish higher education institutions.
Students expressed their views on the role of youth in strengthening peace, dialogue, and mutual respect.
The meeting served as an open platform for young people to engage in global dialogue, diplomacy, and peacebuilding.
Uzbekistan’s Economy: An Open Dialogue with an Expert
Uchrashuv davomida boshqaruv va iqtisodiy tahlil sohasida katta tajribaga ega ekspert “O‘zbekiston iqtisodiyoti: xususiyatlari va xavflar” mavzusida chuqur tahliliy ma’lumotlar taqdim etdi.
Muloqotda so‘nggi iqtisodiy islohotlarning natijalari va yangi tendensiyalar, eksport–import jarayonlaridagi o‘zgarishlar,
iqtisodiy xavf-xatarlar va imkoniyatlar, global mehnat bozori masalalari muhokama etilib, yoshlarda iqtisodiy kompetensiyalar shakllantirildi.
Mazkur uchrashuv Nordikda ta’lim olayotgan talabalar uchun iqtisodiy jarayonlarni chuqur tushunish, real sektor bilan bevosita tanishish hamda ekspert bilan jonli muloqot qilish imkoniyatini yaratdi.
