At the meeting, students presented the works they had read in English during the holiday, analyzed the plots and characters, and shared the ideas put forward by the authors as well as their own personal conclusions. Then, in the “Why This Book?” session, participants recommended the books they had chosen and explained their content and significance. The meeting concluded with the interactive games “Guess the Book” and “One-Minute Pitch.” Through these activities, students tested their skills in identifying books from descriptions and expressing their thoughts in English briefly and clearly. For the club’s next meeting, reading James Clear’s “Atomic Habits” was recommended. The club was led by Nargiza Djurayeva, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages.
