"Work and travel" press-release
It is known that the International Nordic University cooperates with a number of prestigious universities of Northern European countries, especially Finland, in order to contribute to the educational reforms of our country. In cooperation with Finland, the DOUBLE DEGREE program in 3 fields of study, namely "Industrial Management", "International Business" and "Information Communication Technologies" will be put into practice from September 2023.
The educational process at XNU is based on the Finnish model, programs such as "1+3" and "2+2" established with the Karelia University of Applied Sciences of Finland. Our students are offered the opportunity to study at this foreign university based on the selection of the educational program.
Also, an opportunity is being created for our students to spend their summer vacation in Finland based on the work and travel program. Currently, a group of students of our university are making good use of such international opportunities. A group of our students are in Finland on the basis of the "Work and travel" program under the guidance of teachers. Petri Raivo, president of Karelia UAS multidisciplinary international and innovative university, welcomed them and introduced them to the unique campus of the university, the Joyensuu science park, the activities of Finnish libraries and other peculiarities.
On June 18, the next delegation - a group of students headed by teachers is going to Finland for 3 months. They are going to Finland on the basis of the "Work and travel" program, which is a path to professionalism and income. This program is also particularly important with the acquisition of professional knowledge and the exchange of Finnish, Swedish and Turkish cultures and values. In addition, you will get acquainted with the wonderful gifts of this charming country.
On June 17, a meeting was held before the trip to Finland. As part of the program, experts from the Foreign Labor Migration Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a partner of our university, visited and provided advice and necessary handouts to students going to Finland.
This meeting will greatly help students to go to a foreign country, adapt, work and travel properly.
Students traveling to Finland under the "Work and travel" program will enjoy natural forests, great fishing and boating on tidal lakes!
According to our representatives who are in Finland under this program, agriculture and forestry are widely developed in the country. Forestry is an ancient branch of the country's economy. It is useful to study the experiences of Finland in the training of personnel who introduce bioeconomic approaches into industrial practice.
