At the meeting, the students debated one of today’s most global issues: “Is the death penalty a necessary instrument of justice or a violation of human rights?”
A total of 4 teams took part in the debate. Each of them defended its position with firm arguments, supported by international practice, legal norms, and real-life examples.
This uncompromising and heated yet constructive dialogue helped develop the students’ legal thinking and encouraged them to approach problems from a broader perspective.
